Investment Operations

Since 2017, Conifer has been the leading acquirer of forest holdings in Finland, with more than €700 million in assets acquired on behalf of our clients. Our scale and expertise enable us to identify and manage high-quality forest assets that combine stable financial performance with measurable environmental benefits.

Conifer’s investment operations are grounded in timely, data-driven, and sustainable forest management. We apply a rational and disciplined approach to forest asset management while integrating environmental, recreational, and carbon balance considerations into every decision.

Forest Investment approach

Our integrated investment approach ensures that every asset under management serves both economic and environmental objectives — generating sustainable returns, carbon sequestration, and biodiversity-positive outcomes across our portfolio.

In addition to traditional forestry operations, we actively develop renewable energy projects — including wind power, solar energy, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) — through long-term land lease agreements. These initiatives enhance the overall value of our land portfolio while contributing to the energy transition and the decarbonization of regional economies.
